{"id":248,"date":"2021-06-06T15:02:05","date_gmt":"2021-06-06T15:02:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hsdcommunity.org\/findmyway2\/?page_id=248"},"modified":"2026-04-21T10:49:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T16:49:14","slug":"248-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hsdcommunity.org\/findmyway2\/248-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Update News"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p>Update News<\/p>\n\t<p><strong>Updates, April 2026 &#8230; Trailside Commons Added<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Campus:<\/strong> TC now appears on Campus Map including the new Parking Area.<\/p>\n<p>The Building Number (address digits) now appears on each building outline, along with the 2-Letter Building Code (shown in the black circle).<\/p>\n<p>Outdoor Destinations page includes the new, eastside Monarch Butterfly Garden and both new EV Chargers: Plus updated photos for Veterans Memorial and others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buildings:<\/strong>\u00a0 Inside and outdoor route maps both now include the Trailside Commons Building.<\/p>\n<p>Building Data Table adds TC opening date and the Independent Living Apartment quantity.<\/p>\n<strong>Rooms:\u00a0<\/strong>Enter TC or Trailside Commons in the Search box on the <a href=\"https:\/\/hsdcommunity.org\/findmyway2\/rooms-by-category-table\/\">Room Names and Categories Table<\/a> to see all the new building rooms.\u00a0 Tap the Category or Floor Level column Labels (top entry) to organize the listings.<br \/>\nTC rooms are included in all room searches from every building.\n\t<p><strong>Updates, March 2025 &#8230; Major Facelift<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Find My Way (FMW) has undergone major changes to simplify your searches, and to make the site more amenable to mobile devices.\u00a0 Although none of the Information or Search &#8216;Pages&#8217; have been changed, you will see the following improvements in accessing\/using them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Menu Reorganization:<\/strong> Pages appearing in the Menu&#8217;s Drop-Down Lists have been regrouped into like Categories under the Tabs marked Campus, Building, Rooms, and Help.<\/li>\n<li><strong>At-a-Glance<\/strong>, a new Tab has been introduced into the Menu where every Page can be found in a single list. Phone Users will find this handy as they can simply scroll down and click the Page Name that is linked directly to that page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>An At-a-Glance ICON<\/strong> now appears on the home page for immediate access. Phone users can access this menu-like Page without having to open the 3-dot menu hiding at the top-right of their display.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lists\u00a0<\/strong>of Rooms, Exits, etc. have been replaced with interactive <strong>Tables<\/strong> that can be sorted by any column and searched for key-words in any column\/row.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Outdoor Routes<\/strong> Page has been moved to the Campus Tab with new routes shown between Neighborhood 3 and both Neighborhoods 1 and 2.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Links to the HELP<\/strong> &gt; One-Click and HELP &gt; Update News Pages have been added to the Home Page to quickly access instructions to the latest features.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other improvements to the Help Tab include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Update News<\/strong> has been reduced to describe only the latest modifications, eliminating &#8216;Old News&#8217; for several years.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FMW User&#8217;s Guide<\/strong> has been changed to reflect the current Menu-rearrangement and moved from a top-level menu item to a sub-Tab under the HELP Tab<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t<p>Contact the Find My Way Team\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:FMW.HSD@gmail.com\">FMW.HSD@gmail.com\u00a0<\/a> for any questions or comments.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update News Updates, April 2026 &#8230; Trailside Commons Added Campus: TC now appears on Campus Map including the new Parking Area.
