Life is a garden…………Dig It!

The mission of the Highland Springs Garden Club is to provide members who love gardening a forum for education, resources, social interaction and physical fitness. The club holds business and program meetings on a monthly basis. Garden bed and greenhouse spaces are assigned to members on an annual basis for year-round gardening. Each independent living apartment at Highland Springs is eligible for membership in the Garden Club.

The Garden Club thanks Highland Springs for ongoing support to fulfill the club’s mission. “Fill & Till” (annual preparation of our garden beds), fencing of the gardens to help with rabbit and rodent control, offering advice and guidance on projects and up-to-date landscaping information are a few of the ways Highland Springs assists the club.

The goal of creating an environment for healthy, independent and beneficial living for seniors is at the heart of our partnership.
