I practiced Ophthalmology, Board Certified, in “Aggie Land” until my retirement in 2008 after a total of 40 years in medicine.
ACADEMIC: Clinical Asst. Prof. in Dept. of Surgery, Division of Ophthalmology, Scott & White Hospital. Nancy and I were involved in many of the organizations and activities of A&M and our community. With my support, Nancy authored and published a Fine Arts Photographic and Historical book, Texas A&M University: A Legacy of Tradition.
In 2008 after retirement, Nancy and I served The Order of St. John Eye Hospital of Jerusalem for 3 months in a voluntary capacity. This time of service was a tremendous blessing to us both.
We moved to Highland Springs in May 2016. To leave our home and city after 40 years was very difficult. Now we are happy to be at Highland Springs and close to one of our daughters, son-in-law, and grandchildren.
