Thank you to Ali Amos, Move-In Coordinator at Fountain View, our continuing care facility. When in-person interviews were impossible to conduct during the COVID 19 lockdown, she assisted in getting the inclusion of resident veterans at Fountain View in The History of Veterans at Highland Springs. And for those residents who could not contribute on their own, Ali reached out and opened communication to family members who were able to assist their loved ones in writing their military service histories. Ali, you played an extraordinary role during extraordinary times. Know you are appreciated!
Jeff Weiss and Mary Lee King, Executive Assistant to Matt Neville, pitched in to help with editing and placing photos and I thank you so much for your contribution in making my task a lighter one.
And last but certainly not least, I am grateful to Matt Neville, Executive Director of Highland Springs, for his interest in my project and for offering print editions of The History of Veterans at Highland Springs for our libraries and where needed.
